The Macvent is designed to act as a large clear opening natural exhaust ventilator. It can also be used as a rooflight / access hatch.
Offered in a single or double lidded version, the Macvent is suitable for most roof mounting situations.
The rooflight version with translucent lids is particularly suited to areas which would benefit from the provision of a source of natural daylight together with the large ventilation area.
Fitted with energy conserving draught strips to minimise heat loss when closed, also available with insulated ventilator body &/or lid(s).
The unit has an integral base skirt to fix down and flash over all types of building structures including roof upstands.
Manufactured using aluminium BS EN 485 alloy, ventilator body, lid frames, central drainage channel (twin flap only), controls and actuators are secured to the main ventilator body.
