The unit is a multi-purpose roof mounted natural exhaust ventilator that benefits not only from opening top flaps but also controllable side dampers.
The side dampers are used to provide ventilation which can be boosted by opening the top flaps.
Particularly suited to applications where ventilation is required with the feature of opening top flaps for increased ventilation, i.e. factories or commercial areas with heat sources which would otherise cause uncomfortable working conditions.
With the top flaps open, these units provide almost clear daylight openings and consequent psychological relief to personnel working in an enclosed environment.
Fitted with energy conserving draught strips to minimise heat loss when closed.
The unit has an integral welded base skirt to fix down and flash to all types of building structures including roof upstands (can also be installed along the ridgeline).
Manufactured using aluminium BS EN 485 alloy, with side dampers, top flaps and controls all secured to the main ventilator body.
Available with a 508mm wide throat width, with throat lengths from 1220mm up to 2896mm.
