Established in 1966, McKenzie-Martin specialises in the design and manufacture of louvre systems, ventilation units, smoke ventilators and rooflights.

These products form part of a comprehensive and well-established range manufactured to suit a wide variety of commercial, industrial and domestic applications.

The firm remains a family run business with long serving, knowledgeable and loyal staff committed to producing a high level of service and quality products.

NATURAL VENTILATION

Our systems allow for natural air movement through a structure to provide smoke release, airflow and temperature control to interior spaces. A combination of Louvres, Doors, Grilles, Turrets and Roof Ventilators can be designed to suit a variety of applications with options for electrical, pneumatic and manual control available as required.

The use of natural ventilation provides an environmentally friendly alternative to large Air Handling Units or powered extraction while simultaneously reducing utility costs throughout the lifespan of the building in question.

PRODUCTS

The company has increased its product base over the years to include a wide range of natural and fire/smoke ventilators, louvres and rooflights. Specialist fabrication work is now also an integral aspect of the company’s operations.

Product development has always been a vital concern to the company. Existing products are evaluated and improved on an ongoing basis.

New and innovative products are designed, manufactured and tested in a continuing effort to provide the most efficient ventilation solutions.

All products are ‘made-to-measure’ to suit individual requirements and are suitable for commercial, industrial and domestic applications – offered in a wide variety of materials, finishes and colours.

LOUVRE DESIGN & PRODUCT SELECTION

Assistance with the design of ventilation schemes and product selection is offered by our technical team.

INDEPENDENT PRODUCT TESTING

Independent product testing for performance has been undertaken by BSRIA (Building Services Research Information Association), SRL Technical Services Ltd and Salford University’s Department of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, as appropriate.
